BLACK COMME des GARÇONS Resurrects the '80s Nike Eagle
The Swoosh’s lightest sneaker at the time.

Following a joint series of running graphic crewneck tees released last December, BLACK COMME des GARÇONS and Nike join forces once again to resurrect the 1980s Nike Eagle from the archives as a premium all-black sneaker.
The Nike Eagle is a road racing shoe that was first introduced in 1980 as the brand’s most lightweight silhouette weighing in at just 5.1 ounces. For the upcoming offering, the sneaker is reworked in a black leather base with smooth suede overlays and a CDG-branded heel tab. Classic white Nike tags are secured displayed on the nylon tongue, and White co-branding text is printed on the insoles. A thin rubber sole unit completes the collaborative pairs.
Take an official look at the BLACK COMME des GARÇONS x Nike sneakers above, and look for the pairs to release on March 18th exclusively at Dover Street Market and CDG stores in Japan for ¥28,600 JPY ($243 USD).
Elsewhere in footwear, Balenciaga introduces the Crocs Pool Slide in a rainbow of colorways.
