adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR "Sand' Is Getting a Reissue
A second opportunity at the Ye’s neutral colorway is on the way.

When shelter in place orders started to trickle out across the globe during the beginning stages of the global pandemic, folks at home started to pander more to footwear that was comfortable and easy to slip on and off. As a result of this, standard sneakers and dress shoes took a backseat and silhouettes such as clogs and mules got their moment to shine. This trend still hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down, and Kanye West is capitalizing on this movement with his adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR. His Three Stripes model debuted in a “Sand” colorway back in March 2021, and now this variation is slated to receive a reissue in 2022.
YEEZY heads showed much love to this colorway because of its neutral, monochromatic palette as it pretty much goes with nearly everything that you’ve got in your wardrobe. It also bears a similar look to the Foam RNNR’s inaugural “Ararat” colorway, just with a slightly darker exterior. EVA foam makes up a majority of the entire shoe, along with bits of algae for a sustainable component.
It still has to be confirmed by adidas, but early reports are saying that the restock could down sometime in June 2022. Retail will be the usual $80 USD.
In other news, Real Madrid and Y-3 have reconnected for a celebratory collaboration.
