Timberland Remixes Its Heritage Archive With Performance-Driven Outdoor Collection
Looking back at its archive, Timberland champions its all gender line.
Pulling from its heritage archive, Timberland modernizes its classic anorak and jogger silhouettes in vibrant colorways, championing a non-conformist ethos throughout its latest collection of all gender apparel and outerwear.
Timberland may look to its past for inspiration on the new Outdoor Archive collection, but the series itself embraces an inclusive chapter following the brand’s expansion into the lifestyle space. The collection revisits Timberland’s heritage water-resistant anorak and climbing joggers, revamping the silhouettes in a bright-colored orange colorway, including various lifestyle pieces like long sleeves, crewnecks, T-shirts and windbreakers.
Known for its wheat-colored nubuck boots, Timberland strikes a balance with casual wear and performance-enhanced staples that effortlessly transition city dwellers to rocky terrain. Timberland’s all gender silhouettes invite nature enthusiasts to adventure freely outside of the conforms of traditional fashion through performance-driven silhouettes that emphasize utility and comfort.
ONLUNCHBREAK, a rapidly emerging creative agency spearheaded by Thuan Tran, visually leads the campaign. OLB envisions an inclusive industry model and, in partnership with Timberland, seamlessly encapsulates the campaign spirit of organized camaraderie.
Highlighted in the collection is the outdoor anorak, designed from 100% recycled nylon, equipped with waterproofing protection and an adjustable drawstring at the waist for added shape. The matching climbing joggers feature a water-resistant shell, a belted elastic waistband, darted knees reinforced by all-black paneling and adjustable drawstrings at the ankle for a cinched fit.
The long-sleeves feature a graphic ink pattern on the front panel with oversize Timberland lettering on the back; the T-shirts showcase Timberland’s tree motif on the front and are available in various earth-toned colorways.
