IKEPOD Drops Three-Watch Art Series With Tom Christopher
Just 111 of the watches are being made.
IKEPOD is back with a limited art series of three new watches, which mark the brand’s second collaboration with Los Angeles-based artist Tom Christopher.
Christopher’s work first appeared on IKEPOD dials last year with the 200-piece 46mm Megapod series, called ‘Skaters In The Sky.’
The three new watches, each individually numbered, are based on the brand’s 42mm Duopod quartz models.
Skyscrapers Floating In Air, Single Gear and Lost In Thought are each limited to 37 pieces, making for 111 pieces in total. Seven collectors sets of all three watches have also been assembled.
IKEPOD has a history of working with artists, having previously collaborated with Jeff Koons and KAWS.
The Tom Christopher Art Series 42 Duopod watches are available now via IKEPOD, priced $990 USD each or $2,990 USD for the three-watch Collectors Set.
