After 25 seasons, the long-running kids series Arthur came to an end on Monday with PBS Kids revealing where the characters end up in the future.

Airing a segment entitled “All Grown Up,” it was revealed that Arthur became a graphic novelist after he accidentally grabbed an instructional drawing book from the library. The show’s main character can be seen reading the first chapter of his debut book — which is actually the story of Arthur — to his friends who are also now grown. Muffy’s future sees her running for mayor of Elwood against Hirsch, and she gets the support of George who now owns Sugar Bowl. Meanwhile, Francine finds work in a sneaker company, D.W. is an officer of the law, Buster is a teacher and Binky is a news reporter.

Arthur first debuted in 1996 and ended with its 240th episode. The PBS Kids show is the longest-running children’s animated series in American history.

Elsewhere in entertainment, The Righteous Gemstones star Walton Goggins has been cast in a lead role in Amazon’s Fallout series adaptation.
