Official Images of the Air Jordan 1 Mid XQ
Launching for the third time since its original debut in 2007.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid XQ — what was once a release exclusive to China — is set to make a glorious return. This intricate iteration first made its debut to the market back in 2007 when only a meager 240 pairs were released and later on in 2013 as part of a larger XQ collection that featured apparel and hats. Gearing up for its third go into the market, the 2022 version has now been unveiled by way of its official imagery.
The presentation of these kicks is emblematic of Chinese culture. Solid black dresses up the ankle flaps, lower heels and toe tips, the latter of which is adorned with abstract embroidery in gold. A bold red follows suit as it styles up the tongues, overlays nearest the throat, collars and the forefoot which comes debossed with stars. Further regal decorations can be found via more red embroidery that’s positioned on the quarters along with gilded finishes that are applied to the Swooshes, interior lining, laces, ball-and-wings logos, Jumpman insignias on the tongues and the laces.
If you haven’t been able to scoop these up yet, think of this drop as the “third times a charm” as these will be releasing sometime during the coming months.
