Long before the Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB Dunk Low “Chunky Dunky” release in 2020, a Heineken theme landed on the SB Dunk Low. In the silhouette’s second year on the market, Nike outfitted the shoe in green, white and red with a Heineken star at the lateral towards the heel. This 2003 release nowadays fetches thousands of dollars in secondhand market sales and may finally be receiving a sequel.

According to a report from sneaker industry insider JF Grails, a Nike SB Dunk “Heineken 2.0” is on its way. Likely landing on shelves in 2023 — twenty years after its predecessor’s original release — it is currently unknown as to which SB Dunk model will receive the brand’s green and red. Joining Jarritos in beverage-themed SB Dunks coming next year, it’s sure to be a much-anticipated launch from the Swoosh’s skate team.

As of now, neither brand has confirmed the upcoming project. Stay tuned for more information regarding its release as we await official details from both parties.
