Having unveiled its Yuthanan-shot FW22 campaign, Mizuno drops the highly-anticipated “Fishermen Pack” Kizuna sneaker collection.

Inspired by the tranquility of water, particularly the coastal towns of Japan, the curated series is comprised of a trio of the brand’s signature silhouettes with elevated updates. As the name suggests, the collection takes notes from the picturesque fishing village of Ine Bay, northern Kyoto, and includes “Deep Sea Blue” and “Foam White” color palettes as well as unique design details.

Leading the range is the Wave Prophecy LS, a futuristic running silhouette that evolved from its Wave Prophecy 8‘s predecessor. Next in the lineup is the Wave Rider 10. First introduced in 2007, on the Wave Rider’s 10th anniversary, this iteration features an updated suede upper and mesh overlays keeping to the collection’s fishing concept.

Rounding off the “Fishermen Pack” is the Wave Mujin TL. Boasting premium suede details on its upper, functional pull-tab on the heel and tonal branding, this everyday sneaker sees the brand’s trademark Runbird logo hidden behind technical mesh inspired by the fishing net theme noticed throughout the range as well as a wave-like midsole. Exclusive insoles printed with the image of a kasago, a fish native to Japan, complete the designs on the trio of sneakers in the collection.

The Mizuno “Fishermen Pack” Kizuna collection is available to purchase from the brand’s website now, with retail prices ranging from €160 – €250 EUR (approximately $170 – $266 USD).
