Nike‘s Jordan Brand is opening its first official Milan flagship store later this month. This marks the first dedicated retail flagship store in Milan for the collaborative brand with NBA All-Star Michael Jordan.

Business of Fashion has reported that up until now, Jordan Brand products including sneakers, tracksuits and backpack have only been available in Nike retail stores and online at Nike.com and through the SNKRS app. While there have been previous stores under the Jordan branding opened in Dubai and Manila, it is this Milan flagship that is described by the company as a new retail concept.

Slated to open in the next couple of weeks, the Jordan Brand Milan flagship is a 360-square-meter store located in the city’s Via Torino, the popular retail destination in the Italian capital. The store concept will give the brand an extra space to host events designed to be “at the forefront of streetwear and basketball culture.”

Currently, Jordan Brand accounts for over 10% of Nike’s overall revenue and is a staple asset for the brand’s basketball and streetwear market share. Since 2015, Jordan Brand’s sales have more than doubled, topping $5.1 billion USD by this May. The Jordan Brand Milan flagship store opens on December 16.

In other footwear news, Reebok returns with the second “Human Rights Now!” collection.
