Hiroshi Fujiwara’s latest footwear assemblage includes the Chuck 70 Hi and Low.
Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s fragment design label never runs too far from the collaborative domain. We’ve recently seen the imprint reimagine Moncler’s classic Maya Jacket as well as craft its own VanMoof S3 e-Bike team-up, and now its delving back into the footwear space to produce a four-part footwear collection with Converse.
Much like its last initiative with Moncler and Converse that was released in 2020, fragment design brings the Chuck 70 model back into the spotlight. The high-top model and the low-slung silhouette are included, both of which come dressed in a pastel blue tone or a dusted pink for its canvas uppers. Fujiwara’s signature bolt logo is pressed onto the lower heel region of the high tops. The chopped-down variations split their heel branding with “FRGMT” hits in a serif font. While these are not being released through Converse By You — the brand’s customizable sneaker platform — the bolded black strip that sits above the midsole unit features a notation that reads “Converse By You (Fragment).”
