As every sneakerhead knows, it’s hard to throw away a shoe box. What’s harder is deciding which pairs get pride of place, sitting on display or protected in special boxes because of its worth. Now, French homeware manufacturer Christofle is taking it one step further by creating a silver-plated container priced at a hefty $4,150 USD.

The luxurious take on the typical package is designed by Ramdane Touhami and is the perfect way to upgrade your sneaker room. The box features an elegant silver coating, green-tinted velvet liners, and engravable exterior plaques for diverse personalization.

On the other hand, Christofle’s beverage legacy is reflected through an all-new silver-plated travel mug modeled after a Venti Starbucks cup. The chrome design features a vacuum-insulated structure to keep drinks hot or cold throughout the day. A matching silver straw completes the contemporary offering in style.

Take a closer look at Christofle’s silver-plated sneaker box and travel mug in the gallery above. Both items are available to shop now via the Christofle website for $1,000 USD and $4,150 USD.

Elsewhere, Philip Guston’s daughter will donate 220 of her father’s artwork to The Met.
