For U.K. streetwear, it feels like there’s always a new kid on the block awaiting its turn to take the top spot of popularity. We’ve seen success with Corteiz, Clints, and Unknown (to name a few) and now two of London’s most promising emerging labels, A1 Denim and Soho Yacht Club, have come together to present a new denim jacket and trouser collaboration.

A1 Denim was founded by Milan Rodriguez, Leon Parara, and Che Shariff and recently, the trio has taken their brand to new heights with a takeover of London’s Patta store. Posted up in Patta’s store in the heart of Soho alongside other streetwear flagships for the likes of Supreme, Stüssy, and Palace, the newcomers presented a slew of their signature carpenter pants, which of course, flew right off the shelves.

Furthermore, Soho Yacht Club is doing its thing, too. The brand is best known for its corduroy, racing-inspired headwear, and its relaxed-fit tracksuits. SYC isn’t afraid of collaboration either; since its launch in 2020, the label has teamed up with London’s streetwear front-runner, Corteiz, and has also linked up with Chelsea F.C. to present the Premier League side’s third kit for the 2022/23 season.

Now, A1 Denim and Soho Yacht club have just presented their new collaboration which comes in the form of a new collared jacket and trousers. A blacked-out theme is used across the latter here, with the jacket coming packed out with a cropped waist and paneled detailing around the back and shoulders. Additionally, the jacket is also designed with customary A1 x SYC branding on the front chest pocket and this sits under a diagonal zipper. Rounding off the design, the back of the jacket is coated with white co-branding with a message reading: “No man is an island. Do something nice today.”

Matching the jacket, the collaborative jeans are coated in the same black tones, with minimal co-branding taking over the back leg.

You can take a closer look at the new A1 Denim x Soho Yacht Club collaboration above and it will be available on the official A1 Denim website from December 16.
