Japanese Football Club Kawasaki Frontale Unveils New PUMA Suede Silhouette
Celebrating the 26th anniversary of the football club.

Professional Japanese football club, Kawasaki Frontale, has just unveiled a new footwear collaboration with PUMA and atmos to celebrate the club’s 26th anniversary.
Kawasaki currently plays in the J1 League which is the top tier of football in the country and following the club’s launch in 1997, it has picked up four league titles, including one last season to make them the current defending champions. However, for the club’s new collaboration with PUMA, the side has reimagined the classic PUMA Suede silhouette to name it the “VTG MIJ Frontale.”
Crafted under PUMA’s “Made in Japan” umbrella, the upper is made with Himeji leather which is produced locally, while the form strips and insoles are printed with this season’s club graphics — and they’re inspired by the tiles of the Furo bath which the Kawasaki team has a deep connection with for post-game recovery.
Additionally, the tongue is designed with a special woven name alongside the Frontale logo, while the insole features the team logo and atmos, and PUMA branding.
You can have a closer look at the new Kawasaki Frontale x PUMA collaboration above and it is available now on the official atmos website for approximately $160 USD.
