BAIT Teases Upcoming Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Collaboration

Referencing the 6538 “Big Crown.”

BAIT has just teased an upcoming watch collaboration with Tudor. No surprise as BAIT’s Eric Peng Cheng has been a long-time watch collector — even working with Unimatic and H. Moser & Cie. in his other ventures — this collaboration references one of his personal favorites — a 1958 Rolex 6538 “Big Crown” Submariner.

Taking the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight, the vintage diver was translated with its large lume plots, gilt markings, and large red triangle. With co-branding kept minimal, BAIT INC branding is seen just above the 6 o’clock position. Cheng expressed his excitement about working with a brand like Tudor while mentioning that the watch has the “look and feel” of the 6538 but without the six-figure price tag.

With just 35 made, BAIT is set to release more info in the coming days.
