Take a First Look at Clints’ New TRL 2.0 Sneaker

Manchester-based streetwear label Clints has just previewed a new edition of its TRL sneaker and it’s the latest step in the brand’s ever-evolving footwear line-up.

Junior Clint’s label is no stranger to footwear curation; the brand originally started because of Clint’s overall feeling of discontent with the footwear market and the self-taught designer’s unique drops quickly garnered attention on the streets of Manchester and beyond. And hot on the heels of its debut “Stepper” silhouette, Clints presented its debut collaboration with Patta and dropped a skating silhouette inspired by ’90s skate culture.

However, Clints latest teased sneaker is a new iteration of the brand’s TRL, and now it’s evolved into the TRL 2.0. The silhouette takes inspiration from basic Trek shoes and features a Neoprene upper with layered paneling for added support. Rubber branding can also be spotted on the heel, as well as on the labeled toe puff. Also coming packed with an EVA midsole, the design is rounded off with reflective 3M details.

For the colors, the sneaker is coated with hues of grey, white, and silver across the paneled upper and mesh details. Tones of black are then coated around the lateral mid-panel, heel, and toe-box while the customary Clints hangtag uses the same dark hue. Finishing off the design, the shoe is complemented with a Clints logo on the sole.
