This year adidas and Yohji Yamamoto celebrated two decades of their storied Y-3 partnership with the “20 Years: Recoded” series, to close out the celebrations Y-3 has come together Palace for a collaborative collection. The special range sees the uniquely British imprint reinterpret archival pieces from Y-3’s history. The spin on a legacy of iconic designs resulted in an expansive selection of apparel, accessories, and footwear.

To mark the collaboration, the duo delivers an aphoristic campaign that captures the rebellious spirit of Y-3 and the irreverent humor of Palace. Through direction from visual artist Jack Davison and styling by Robbie Spencer, soccer icon Zinedine Zidane and skate legend Lucas Puig deliver an ode to sporting heritage. The short film offers a “charismatic tête-à-tête” that shows a stunning visual of what happens with the motion of soccer and skateboarding come together.

The Palace x Y-3 Fall/Winter 2022 collection is set to release in-store at Palace, online, and on the adidas Confirmed app November 11, 11 a.m. EDT.
