Joined by the shared wish to make the world a better place, the capsule urges the masses to take care of the planet that we share through the use of sustainable materials, messaging, and imagery. Graphics display VVW’s iconic dog logos designed by NIGO accompanied by globe and flower motifs while text blocks read: “The Victor Victor dog is a symbol of protection and courage. Together, we strive for an earth-positive future that empowers the next generation and creates a better planet for all.” Silhouettes available include graphic hoodies, sweatshirts, track pants, and T-shirts made in a blend of 50% recycled cotton with responsibly sourced threading and labels.
The project falls within PANGAIA’s overarching initiative aimed at working with communities and changemakers to design a better future. A portion of the proceeds from the capsule will be donated to those affected by the water crisis in Flint, Michigan in conjunction with the Victor Victor Foundation (VVF) founded in 2020.
The PANGAIA x VICTOR VICTOR capsule collection will be available via PANGAIA’s website and HBX New York beginning October 27. Prices range from $90 for the T-shirts to $265 for the Signature Hoodie.
