Dover Street Market Ginza To Sell Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton Archive
A selection of pieces from Abloh’s tenure at the French luxury fashion house.
Almost a year after the unexpected death of Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton continues to honor the designer’s creative mind with the release of select key pieces from his archive. Partnering with Dover Street Market Ginza, the French luxury fashion house is set to exhibit and sell some of the brand’s most unique pieces from Abloh’s shortened tenure at the Maison.
Those fans of Abloh and Louis Vuitton can head to the Tokyo location for DSM between October 29 to November 15 to shop and take a unique look at some of the pieces that defined the designer’s time at the luxury house. The exhibit will provide an up-close look at a total of eight ensembles that span Abloh’s nearly four years at Louis Vuitton along with a selection of custom and archival designs.
Louis Vuitton nor DSM Ginza have confirmed which exact looks will be on display. With so many iconic looks from Abloh’s reign at the brand, it is certain that the decision to choose just eight looks was no easy feat. From placing his collaborative signature on the coveted Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 to the NIGO collaboration, Louis Vuitton was not short of any spectacular moments during Virgil Abloh’s tenure. Check out the exhibit at Dover Street Market Ginza starting on October 29.
