Leica Release "Reporter" Edition of the SL2-S
Joining the M10-P, Q2 and a Q2 Monochrome.

Leica Camera AG has just released its Reporter-Design-Series version of the SL2-S mirrorless. As the Reporter badge entails, this version is a nod to photo and video journalism and features a more robust design made for adverse operating conditions in the field.
The camera sees minimal branding for an unobtrusive appearance while its all-metal body has been treated to a scratch-resistant paint finish in dark green with an aramid fiber coating. The aramid fiber coating gives the camera a distinct texture with its tightly interwoven fibers all the while giving its users increased grip when shooting.
Priced at $5,495 USD, the Leica SL2-S Reporter is available now at all official Leica Stores and is limited to just 1,000 pieces.
In other camera news, Sony released FX30 Cine cam aimed at new filmmakers.
