While 2022 has treated adidas YEEZY fans to plenty of new and re-released looks on silhouettes such as the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2, the adidas YEEZY 500 High has remained quiet. Events such as YEEZY Day 2022 came and went without any action for the high-top, however, its low-top counterpart did see some shine in the first half of the year. Now, it is time for the YEEZY 500 High to make its return, just in time for fall and its cold weather.

First spotted on-foot in June, this “Taupe Black” colorway now finds itself prepared to hit shelves. A mixed material upper of suede and neoprene combines with leather overlays to create the sneaker’s unique shape. Shades of dark brown cover the upper while black can be spotted at the mudguard, heel and sole unit. Looking closer at the sole, the 500’s typical shape is backed by adiPRENE+ technology.

Release for the adidas YEEZY 500 High “Taupe Black” is locked and loaded for October 17 via adidas and select adidas YEEZY retailers worldwide with a $220 USD price tag.
