adidas YEEZY 500 High Receives an Earthy Makeover
Brown and black tones dominate Ye’s boot-like model.
Ever since Kanye West started releasing products alongside adidas in 2015, a common denominator amongst many of his designs has been earthy tones. This has rung especially true for many of his footwear models, and the latest to receive this treatment is the adidas YEEZY 500 High.
The boot-like silhouette uses various shades of brown throughout the upper half. The bulbous neoprene panels across the mid-foot and heightened part of the heel are done up in a lighter tan hue while the suede overlays located on the toe boxes, the tongue and mudguards steer towards a more dirt-inspired tone. Notes of stark black accents also get ushered in here as they ornament the piping and the adiPrene-cushionied sole pieces that ride underneath.
adidas hasn’t announced an official release date for these just yet, but when they do drop you can expect them to be priced at the usual $220 USD. Peep a look at how the kicks look on foot in the gallery above while you wait on their arrival.
For other news, the adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR “Desert Sand” is scheduled to release on June 11.
