MCM Taps LA-Based Fashion Creator Everett Williams for Curated Pride Accessories Capsule
A percentage of proceeds will benefit LA Pride.
MCM is celebrating Pride Month with a kaleidoscopic accessories capsule, curated by inventive LA-based fashion creator Everett Williams.
Williams, who studied at the Parsons School of Design and subsequently worked on the menswear design team for Marc Jacobs, has since nurtured his own styling aesthetic through a bevy of digital editorials on his own social media accounts. For MCM, the creative curator selected 10 vivid accessories from the German label’s latest range, with the Pride flag’s signature rainbow tones at the forefront of his decision-making process.
Among his selects, tote bags, duffels, backpacks, wallets, bucket hats and slides control the playful lineup. Together, the collection provides an evocative representation of classic Pride colors; and separately, each piece makes a powerful statement in its own right.

“This project has been a dream of mine for a while now. Partnering with a brand that has values similar to mine and supports the LGBTQ+ community means everything to me,” said Williams in a statement. “Working closely with the MCM team from choosing products and designs to how to bring the creativity to life is something that I will cherish forever.”
“It is so heartwarming when a project comes to life naturally, and everyone has support and respect for one another’s views and ambitions, and that’s exactly what happened here,” he added. “This capsule is a part of MCM and a part of me to honor and support the LGBTQ+ community.”
Williams’ selects range from $150 USD to $960 USD. A percentage of proceeds made in-store will be donated to LA Pride, a leading LGBTQ+ non-profit championing equity, diversity and inclusion in Southern California.
