"Snakeskin" Lands on the adidas Crazy 1
Throwing it back to the early 2000s.

While the late Kobe Bryant’s impact on the game of basketball is undeniably massive, his influence on the world of sneakers should not be overlooked. Best known for his Nike Kobe series, the superstar athlete also had a run with the Three Stripes before joining up with the Swoosh. Now, while Nike has yet to fully relaunch the Kobe line, adidas has taken the opportunity to revisit its partnership with Bryant as the adidas Crazy 1 makes its return. Rumors of this popped up in June and have since resulted in the re-release of the adidas Crazy 1 “Stormtrooper.”
With the adidas Crazy 1 “Snakeskin,” adidas has opted to introduce a new look to the 2000s sneaker. Reminiscent of 2020’s adidas YEEZY QNTM “Quantum,” this presentation of the old-school silhouette balances off-white, gray and black throughout. While the snakeskin detailing outfits the majority of the molded upper, black covers the lining and heel. Silver hits the small toecap as an off-white midsole and black rubber outsole completes the remainder of the look.
Look for the adidas Crazy 1 “Snakeskin” to release via adidas and select retailers at a price of $150 USD on October 14.
