HOKA ONE ONE has added the all-new Kawana silhouette to its extensive running sneaker line-up.

The French footwear company — which is now based out of California — rounded out a busy 2021 with a collaborative take on its Mafate Speed 2 Trail alongside Moncler, after earlier co-releases with Engineered Garments, Cotopaxi and thisisneverthat.

Now, for its first release of the new year, the sneaker label unveils two takes of a silhouette inspired by the Gold Coast’s famous beach break, in both dark and light combinations.

The Kawana, which continues to push the boundaries of HOKA foams and geometries, provides a solid rebound underfoot without packing out and delivers a well-balanced ride. Sporting a modified crash pad with Swallowtail geometry, the sneaker’s bevelled heel creates a broader, flatter surface designed for smoother heel strikes.

The new HOKA ONE ONE Kawana will drop in two instalments, with the darker iteration available to buy now and the lighter take set to drop on February 1, both of which you can shopped via the brand’s online webstore.

In other footwear news, Nike’s latest Offline Pack is padded with “Ocean Cube” and “Light Smoke Gray” colorways.
