Telfar Is Releasing a New Duffle Bag Through Its 24-Hour 'Telfar TV' Channel

Following the immense popularity of its boxy shopping bag, which has become a modern streetwear icon and one of the best-selling styles of this decade, the New York-based brand Telfar is set to release its second handbag silhouette today in a highly anticipated worldwide launch.

The brand’s newest style is a comparatively more compact Duffle. The barrel-shaped bag will come in small, medium and large sizes, and is designed for men and women, in keeping with the gender-fluid aesthetic of the label and its founder, Telfar Clemens.

The Duffle features a smooth, minimal body true to the brands aesthetic, with its “T” hallmark on both side faces opening up as functional pockets. A double handle with a detachable across the body strap allows users to wear this as a side bag or a handbag. As always, the bag is crafted with vegan leather, a sustainable must from Telfar. The first model scheduled for release today will come in an all-black colorway, with more color options to drop in the coming months.

To access the drop, fans will have to tune into Telfar’s own TV channel at 12pm EST where they will have to scan a QR code in the space of one minute. The new drop system named “Drips” has been designed to combat bots and bulk ordering giving everyone an equal chance to buy the bag.
