The 25th film in the James Bond franchise, “No Time To Die“, finally got its premiere at London’s Royal Albert Hall last night, after being put on ice for 18 months due to COVID-19.

The huge event was a fitting send off to Daniel Craig, in his fifth and final outing as 007, who owned the red carpet in a raspberry velvet tuxedo and a rose gold Omega Aqua Terra.

On screen, Bond can be seen wearing a Seamaster 300M which, thanks to Q-branch, packs a mini EMP charge capable of knocking out electric circuits, something Bond uses in the film to explosive effect. Q (Ben Wishaw) himself can be seen wearing a quartz-powered, Swatch Q.

Of course, as the official James Bond watch, Omega dominated proceedings with Naomie Harris, who plays Moneypenny, wearing a diamond-set Deville Ladymatic. But one person who didn’t need telling to don their trusty Omega was HRH Prime William The Duke of Cambridge, who has worn the same Seamaster for years.

Other notable wrist wear spotted on the red carpet included Rami Malek, who plays villain Safin, wearing a Cartier Tank Américaine, musician Finneas wearing a Cartier Santos, Stormzy and Dave wearing a Patek Philippe Nautilus and Audemars Piguet Royal Oak respectively, while Aquaman star Jason Momoa, who wore a rectangular gold Cintrée-style ultra thin dress watch.

Elsewhere in watches, HYPEBEAST looks back at 60 years of Bond watches.
