Nike Air Woven is Unveiled With a "Court Purple" and "Medium Olive" Accents
The 2000s model returns with an understated color palette.
The late 90s and early 2000s is arguably one of the most influential style eras for the Nike brand as many a different silhouette were introduced. One model that was birthed in the year 2000 was the Nike Air Woven — a head-turning model that bears a woven textile upper — and it’s returning to the scene here in 2021. After being unveiled with multi-colored uppers, the offering has just revealed its latest “Black/Court Purple” installment.
The low-slung kicks are forged with a basket weave-esque base layer that’s primarily doused in black. From there, “Court Purple” and “Medium Olive” accents are embedded in X-like fashion across the mid-foot and they even poke out atop the charcoal gray shield-shaped shrouds that are positioned towards the top of the throat and the heels. Additionally, the suede heel panel also brings in further contrasting with a muted gray exterior and the insoles are sprayed with more “Court Purple” paint. Down below the midsoles are flooded with a completely white outer and feature a debossed Air hit towards the heel.
Detailed images are in the gallery above, and note that Nike Japan has these scheduled to drop in the coming weeks for ¥19,250 (approx. $175 USD).
