With Kanye West and JAY-Z reuniting for a collab on DONDA, Justin LaBoy claimed that Watch the Throne 2 could release at the end of 2021.

Taking to Twitter, LaBoy — a creative of Ye’s — announced the news in response to a fan. “Watch The Throne 2 coming end of the year. Kanye & Hov about to make history AGAIN,” he wrote, reiterating his point in a separate tweet to another fan, “YES. HOV & YE back building again. They both rich enough to quit rapping, but the passion they share of making the fans happy got them back working.”

Neither West nor Hov have publicly confirmed this claim, but LaBoy seems to be a credible source considering his proximity to Ye, especially during the DONDA album cycle. After the record failed to drop on July 23, the TV host was the first to reveal that the rescheduled release date is August 6: “KANYE WEST WILL MOVE THE RELEASE DATE OF DONDA TO AUGUST 6TH. THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE[.] HE WANTS TO GIVE HIS FANS THE BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT WITHOUT RUSHING ANYTHING. HE LOVES YALL WITH ALL OF HIS HEART. GOD BLESS[.]”

Take a look at the tweets below and stay tuned for more info on Watch the Throne 2.

In case you missed it, take a look at what happened during Kanye West’s second DONDA listening party.
