JJJJound Teases Upcoming New Balance 990v4 Collaboration in Navy
Serving as a follow-up to its 992 collection that dropped in 2020.

JJJJound first started producing footwear collaborations in 2017 when it generated an extremely-limited three-piece Old Skool collection with Vans, and since then it hasn’t looked back. And this Fall/Winter, the Montreal-based design imprint will be beefing up its collaborations repertoire with a navy New Balance 990v4 that has just surfaced. This marks the third occasion that these two parties will have partnered up together as they first launched a 990v3 in 2018 and a duo of 992s in 2020.
Based off of the one photo of these that was posted to the JJJJound IG, we can see that the kicks will adhere to a two-toned motif. The breathable mesh underlays along with the buttery suede overlays will work together and appear with the identical navy skin while hints of solid black sprinkle to the laces, interior liners, side “N” logos, toe box overlays, midsoles and American flags affixed to the tongues. The customary 990v4 hit that rests on the tongues are blacked out and the insoles come dressed with a JJJJound hit in white.
Release details are still unknown, but you can expect these to launch sometime during the Fall/Winter 2021 season.
