Official Look at the CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle "Orange"
Edison Chen and Chitose Abe reference CLOT’s archival Nike collabs for this three-way offering.

Chitose Abe‘s got herself a busy schedule this season as she gradually starts to roll out her highly-coveted Nike footwear projects, and after concluding her drops with fragment design, she’s turning to CLOT for a two-pieced set of collaborations. The first to release to the public is the CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle “Orange” which has just been unveiled by way of official imagery.
Its visual composition bursts with an assortment of neutral tones and louder accents as it harks back to CLOT’s classic Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death” — an archival piece of the Swoosh’s collaborative history that retro’d earlier this year. Staged on this three-way offering are suede overlays and synthetic materials that make up most of the side paneling, both of which are tinted with a sandy hue. From there, the vibrant orange and red accents do most of the talking as they alternate amongst its double-stacked tongues, Swooshes, laces, and elongated midsoles, while small notes of green poke out atop the tongues and next to the throat. In addition, the foreground Swooshes that rest on the lateral and medial walls are devised with snakeskin textures.
An official launch date for these is scheduled for September 9.
