Stain Shade Repurposes Surplus Materials For Manhattan Portage Capsule
A release born out of a long-term admiration for the New York bag aficionados.

After dressing vintage Nike pieces for a recent summer capsule, London-based Stain Shade returns this season with a unique selection of Manhattan Portage bags.
The creative studio — who towards the end of last year dropped a duo of bespoke chairs — has been a long-term admirer of Manhattan Portage as a stalwart of the New York bike courier scene, appreciating its consistency in crafting durable bags fit for purpose.
Now, creating similar bags of its own, Stain Shade releases its latest capsule which has been made using hundreds of metres of hand-dyed fabric sent from the Manhattan Portage factory. Offering a plethora of unique styles and looks, the capsule finds the balance between Manhattan Portages’ penchant for durability and Stain Shade’s eye for style.
Set to drop on August 9, the Stain Shade x Manhattan Portage capsule will be available from the likes of Browns and 18montrose.
