Stain Shade Turns Its Focus to Bespoke Hand-Dyed Chairs
The tie-dye garment specialists are now offering tailored furniture.
After hand-dying a selection of Clarks Originals Desert Boots as a part of LN-CC’s “10.10” capsule, London-based Stain Shade has now turned its attention to creating bespoke furniture for the masses.
Founded by James Brackenbury, the label began in the artist’s back garden after he became annoyed at the lack of quality tie-dye garments on offer. Now, after reworking pieces from the likes of Carhartt and Untold Studios in the last year, the brand adds furniture to its arsenal of products.
Teaming up with architect NIKJOO, the pair now offer up a selection of hand-dyed, hand-made chairs crafted from a lightweight birchwood ply. Customers have the choice to then select either a combination of colors or to let Stain Shade do its thing.
Available now from the Stain Shade webstore, each chair retails at £325 ($430 USD).
