Nike Taps Mat Fraser Once Again for the Metcon 7 PE

Nike Training reunites with the “Fittest Man on Earth” Mat Fraser to debut the Metcon 7 PE.
Long-time Nike endorsed 5X CrossFit Games Champion has dropped a number of collaboration sneakers with the sportswear giant since 2018. The training shoe has seen multiple developments to provide the best comfort and durability to withstand movements ranging from weight training to high-intensity cardio.
The new Metcon 7 embodies Fraser’s “Broken to Best” story which features the Japanese technique “Kintsugi” — filling cracks with gold. The shoe takes on a blacked-out honeycomb-patterned upper base with gold embellishing from the toe to the Swoosh, eyestay and heel. Fraser’s signature is signed on the medial side sealed with a transparent overlay. An all-black outsole with a gold heel completes the look.
Look out for the Nike Metcon 7 “Mat Fraser” PE to be released in the coming weeks for ¥15,400 JPY (approximately $140 USD) at select retailers and Nike JP.
