C2H4 Creates an Other-Worldy Zippo Windproof Lighter
For the love of music.
The C2H4 x Zippo Guitar Lighter is set in the celestial habitat created by designer Yixi Chen for the “My Own Private Planet” SS21 collection released earlier this year. The fictional planet houses inhabitants that speak “Sonata,” and operates with music as a language, poetry as a format, and mathematics as religion.
This Zippo windproof lighter adopts an antique aesthetic dressed in heavily engraved metal. A monogram pattern is etched on the body along with a guitar graphic as a symbol for the C2H4 civilization. Subtle cursive text adorns the laterals spelling “C2H4 Sonata” on the cap and “No.3 in C major, Op. 2021” below.
The Guitar Zippo will be available on C2H4’s website on July 15, 12:00 p.m. PST (3:00 p.m. EDT).
