'Dragon Quest Walk' Taps 115-Year-Old Biscuit Maker for Slime Senpei Release
Using the same century-old receipe.




The famous Japanese Senpei company, Niwaka Senpei, is joining forces with Square Enix for a batch of Dragon Quest Walk snacks.
Fukuoka’s Niwaka Senpei has been around since 1906 where it started selling its biscuits next to the Hakata train station. Still using the same recipe that’s existed for over a century, this collaborating sees Dragon Quest‘s Slime mascot in biscuit form and shape as the commemorative box plays off both the Niwaka Senpei mask logo and the Slime’s facial expression.
