Bottega Veneta's $2,100 USD Roller Skates are now up for Pre-Order
Nostalgia, Bottega-fied.

Daniel Lee has taken Bottega Veneta to a new level for Fall/Winter 2021 delivering everything from boots to bags in its signature shade of “Grass” green, and now the label has reached new heights with a pair of Quilt roller skates.
Served up in “Grass,” “Cobalt” or “Sea Salt,” the roller skates feature an upper made entirely from premium lambskin leather and are paired to a gum-rubber sole unit that serves as the base for the skates. A metal plate runs underneath the gum sole and here you’ll find a track that holds the tonal wheels and toe stopper in place.
The skates are based on an actual pair of shoes that Bottega Veneta debuted for FW21. The shoes follow the same theme (but of course don’t have wheels on them), and continue to inspire the roller skates by lending them its webbing heel tab, tonal laces, and tonal terry cloth lining.
Keeping on brand with Bottega’s style, there is actually no branding on the outside. Instead, BV relies on the use of color and premium materials to let those in the know realize what you’re wearing. Rounding out the pair of roller skates is the leather insoles, where branding does appear.
If you’ve got a spare $2,100 USD lying around, head over to Bottega Veneta’s website to pre-order the roller skates now. Delivery will commence from around September 18.
In other news, Bottega Veneta also debuted a new Flash Chelsea boot style for FW21.
