Julia Lang's VEERT Returns With Second Collection

Renowned creative consultant Julia Lang has done everything from work with Kareem “Biggs” Burke to provide direction to esteemed clients like Hubble Studio — all endeavors she detailed to Jeff Staple in a 2018 Business of HYPE episode — but one of the projects nearest and dearest to Lang’s heart is VEERT, her unisex jewelry and lifestyle brand. After releasing its inaugural collection in November 2020 and quickly gaining favor with the likes of A$AP Rocky, Miguel, Bryson Tiller, Nas and more, VEERT is back with a second set of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more, all inspired by flowers, which VEERT sees as “nature’s totems of beauty.”

Showcased in a lookbook that stars Stevie Wonder‘s son Kailand Morris, the offerings are undeniably intricate. Gold vermeil works with pearls and gems to provide an extravagantly detailed look that veers away from gaudiness, instead opting for a timeless homage to natural beauty. Key pieces include a pink and green freshwater pearl flower necklace, plus matching earrings, bracelets and rings — all of which can be seen in the lookbook above.

“I’ve always deemed a flower as being a universal language,” says Lang. “A flower has the ability to warm someone’s heart, and it never chooses between gender, age or ethnicity. Like a flower, when humans receive love and positivity, we bloom and prosper. Flowers have an innate ability to bring people together. And that’s exactly what I wish to achieve with our second VEERT collection.”
