Tom Wood and Suicoke Prep for Summer With an Elevated Sandal Collection
The Japanese brand’s Cel, Depa and Moto models get reimagined with jewelry inspired hardware.
While sandals have been seen an ascension in popularity over the last year due to the world being forced to lounge around in them in quarantine, the airy silhouettes are truly meant to be rocked during the summer season. And Japanese imprint Suicoke is capitalizing on this with its collaborative projects as it has already partnered up with the likes of WACKO MARIA, NEIGHBORHOOD and Nice Kicks, and now it will be adding jewelry brand Tom Wood into its roster.
The key with this project was finding the perfect design language blend between the two parties. In this instance, Suicoke provides its classic Cel, Depa and Moto silhouettes as the canvases for Tom Wood to reimagine with a minimal-yet-elevated aesthetic. Each makeup has been fashioned with premium black nappa leather and jewelry-esque hardware elements. The pairs for women feature a platform sole and custom gold-plated hardware while the options for men bear black plating for an edgier and darker vibe.
If interested, you can head over to the Tom Wood online store right now and cop a warm weather-ready pair for yourself for $399 USD. Suicoke will also be dropping them on June 7 at 6pm EDT.
