Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH Is Releasing in Infant and Toddler Sizes
For the environmentally (and fashion) conscious little one in your life.
After its adult-sized debut in April, Sean Wotherspoon and adidas‘ ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH is set to release in infant and toddler sizes. Wotherspoon has long been a proponent of pint-sized sneaker collaborations — in years past, his Nike Air Max 1/97 and ASICS GEL-LYTE III both received kids-sized drops — and his mini ZX 8000 stuffs an amazing amount of detail into a small package.
Dubbed “Legacy For Our Kids,” the shoe’s uppers boast all the patchwork patterns and technical textiles of the adult-sized pair, from the flower embroidery on the lateral forefoot to the removable SUPEREARTH lace cover, plaid-patterned midfoot and rough-hewn textile heel. The only thing that’s absent is the long, loose threads that dangle from the upper of the full-sized sneaker, though these were likely removed to prevent the slips and trips that often occur as children learn to walk. The look is completed by sustainable midsoles and Wotherspoon’s SW logo embroidered on the heel. The shoes are also packaged in a special SUPEREARTH box.
The Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH in infant and toddler sizes is set to hit the adidas webstore and retailers like 43einhalb on June 13. Its MSRP is set at an even $100 USD.
