Syng's Smart Cell Alpha Speaker Will Map Out the Best Sounds for Your Space
Developed by Damon Way and former Apple designer Christopher Stringer.

Syng’s new Cell Alpha Speaker is a testament to innovative design. For those who haven’t yet heard of Syng, the company is the brainchild of Christopher Stringer and Damon Way. The Stringer is a former product designer at Apple with over 20 years of experience working on various iterations of iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches, to mention a few. Damon Way is the founder of DC Shoes.
Their extensive backgrounds have given the company a solid foundation for innovative designs; the Cell Alpha Speaker is their latest example. It only took Syng three years to develop the product. The speaker is elegantly round, transparent and is built with the company’s smart “Triphonic” sound technology, where the device learns the acoustics of a space to help shape the sound it delivers. The three-horned “Triphone” at the center of the speaker was made using 3D printing. Furthermore, it comes with Force-Balanced subwoofers that optimize bass quality at any volume. Lastly, the speakers rest on a sleek metal stand that can be adjusted within a wide range of heights.
Syng’s Cell Alpha Speaker is currently available on Syng’s website for $1,799 USD.
