Nike Golf's Seersucker-Inspired Air Max 90 G and Air Zoom Infinity Tour Are Full of Classic Charm
Dapper stripes, peachy accents and palmetto tree prints abound.
With the PGA Tour set to tee off its AT&T Byron Nelson tournament in McKinney, Texas (just outside of Dallas) this week, Nike is nodding to classic Southern golf style and charm with seersucker-inspired takes on the Air Max 90 G and Air Zoom Infinity Tour. Both of these Nike Golf models are covered in patterns and rich in special accents, making for perfect warm-weather options to trek through the course — no matter what hemisphere you’re playing in.
Each style is essentially a golf-ified take of an existing model: the Air Max 90 G is a bolstered version of Nike Sportswear‘s Air Max 90 while the Air Zoom Infinity Tour is a remixed iteration of Nike Running‘s React Infinity Run line. Both feature an upper adorned with white and light blue seersucker stripes, and add peachy pink accents in for contrast. Nike Golf branding graces each tongue, insoles boast a repeating palmetto print and the AM90 uses Air Max cushioning in its heel while the Air Zoom Infinity Tour opts for a full-length React footbed that houses springy Zoom pods. For a finishing touch, the Air Max 90 G uses a toothed outsole for grip while the Air Zoom Infinity Tour adds more traditional circular golf spikes to its translucent, striped outsole.
The seersucker-coated Nike Air Max 90 G and Air Zoom Infinity Tour are both set to release via the Nike GB webstore in the coming weeks. The former is priced at $130 USD, the latter at $160 USD.
