Parks Project and Vans Release Expansive Collection Inspired by California's National Parks
Old Skools, Sk8-His, Authentics and more are adorned with Parks Project’s “Leave It Better Than You Found It” motif.

Parks Project — the “official outfitter” of the US’s national parks — has teamed with Vans for an expansive collection inspired by California’s wealth of national parks. Offerings include footwear styles both classic and current like the Sk8-Hi, Old Skool, Authentic, Slip-On, and UltraRange EXO plus a full collection of apparel ranging from hoodies to tees and bucket hats.
Each piece pulls its colors and inspiration from a different part of the California national park palette: for example, the Authentic offers a light yellow shade while the Old Skool uses a unique take on its checkerboard pattern, the Slip-On equips a marbled print and select long sleeve shirts boast a flower embellishment. However, both the footwear and apparel is brought back together by a common denominator — namely that each item is emblazoned with Parks Project’s signature “Leave It Better Than You Found It” motif, reminding park goers to respect nature and clean up after themselves. Besides the collection, Parks Project and Vans will contribute $250K USD to the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), an organization that strives to keep the US’s national parks beautiful.
The Parks Project x Vans collection will release on May 14 via the Parks Project and Vans webstores. Men’s, women’s and kids sizes will be available, and retail prices have yet to be announced.
