Nike Pays Tribute to Gigi Bryant With the Kobe 6 Protro "Mamba Forever"
Furnished with Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation logos and the #2 to honor her jersey number.

As far as we know it, Nike only has a handful of Kobe sneaker releases left up its sleeve given that Bryant’s deal with the Swoosh has concluded. and one that’s included in the mix is this newly surfaced Kobe 6 Protro “Mamba Forever”. This particular makeup is arguably one of the most heartfelt releases to-date as it honors the life of Gigi Bryant whose life was unfortunately taken far too soon.
The most significant elements of this iteration are located towards the back. The #2 — Gigi‘s jersey number — is embellished onto the lateral sides with gilded finishes, and the heel’ molds split between “Kobe” on the left foot and “Gigi” on the right. Additionally, the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation logos are placed just above these monikers. Elsewhere on the kicks you’ll find the scales and tongues painted with black backgrounds while clean white accents follow suit on the Swooshes, laces and tongue’s Mamba logos. Interior liners continue the snake motif by appearing with white/black scale patterns. Placed underneath is a Zoom-loaded midsole that is housed in a black case and mated with a clean white outsole.
Early reports have these launching during Summer 2021 for $180 USD, but Nike has not announced any official release information yet.
In case you missed it, a new Nike Dunk Low “Camo” colorway has emerged.
