After introducing its new 11th-generation H-series processors for ultraportable laptops during CES earlier this year, Intel has now finally unveiled the high-performance models of its latest mobile CPU series.

According to the tech company, the new lineup of processors can provide up to 19 percent higher speeds compared to its predecessor thanks to its 10nm Willow Cove architecture, which enables faster performance and greater efficiency compared to the older 14nm models. In fact, Intel even claims that the new H-series CPUs are the fastest single-threaded mobile chips on the market.

Topping the range is the Core i9-11980HK, carrying eight cores with Intel’s Turbo Boost 3.0 technology that allows two cores to reach up to 5GHz and 4.5GHz across all eight. Available fully unlocked, you’ll be able to overclock the CPU at east, and Intel says that it’s not only a whopping 21 percent faster than last year’s model in War Thunder, but also 21 percent faster than AMD‘s Ryzen 5900HX in Rainbow Six Siege and 26 percent faster in Grid 2019.

There are currently no announcements yet on which laptops will carry the new 11th-gen H-series processors, so those looking for a performance machine should definitely stay tuned for more updates to come.

Elsewhere in tech, Sony has released a limited edition “Silent White” colorway of its WH-1000XM4 Noise Canceling Headphones.
