Hyundai-owned luxury automaker Genesis has just previewed its upcoming G70 Shooting Brake designed specifically for the European market.

Basing its design on the G70 sedan, the upcoming Shooting Brake variant carries the same signature Crest Grille placed slightly lower than the emblematic Quad Lamps. A single-piece glass hatch extends down the side to the rear, complemented by a “floating type” integral spoiler to create a sportier aesthetic. It even shares the same dimensions as its sibling, measuring at 4,685 mm long, 1,850 mm wide, and 1,400 mm tall, although carrying a trunk space 40 percent larger.

“The G70 Shooting Brake marries luxury and European automotive heritage with our design philosophy of Athletic Elegance,” said Genesis Europe’s managing director Dominique Boesch. “Our fifth car in Europe, the Shooting Brake will stand apart through its unique design; it is a clear statement of our commitment to the region.”

The automaker has yet to announce availability and pricing for the G70 Shooting Brake, so those interested should stay tuned for more updates to come.
