London-based cycling label Albion has revealed its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, utilizing recycled materials and sustainable fabrics throughout. The capsule consists of essential gear for cycling — including a short sleeve jersey, bib shorts, a windproof gilet and mesh base layers for warm weather riding — all of which are constructed from recycled performance fabrics.
All of the items come in a variety of color options, including the short sleeve jersey — available in “Burnt Orange,” “Forest Green,” and “Pale Blue” — and the Ultralight Windproof Gilet, which comes in either black or “Mist.”
Launching the collection, which includes womenswear for the first time, co-founder Charlie Stewart said, “Our mission at Albion is to help people go outside and stay there for longer, and the addition of women’s gear is a hugely important stepping stone towards achieving that mission.”
As well as debuting the SS21 collection, Albion has also announced that Graeme Raeburn has joined the brand as Lead Designer. Raeburn, who was previously Lead Designer at Rapha, said, “Since meeting the Albion team a few years ago, I’ve been impressed with their singular vision to create a new type of product-led cycling clothing brand that places impact and responsibility at the heart of what they do.”
The Albion SS21 collection is available now from the brand’s web store.
