RZA Returns as Bobby Digital for New Single "Pugilism"
‘Digital Potions’ will mark his first album since 2008’s ‘Digi Snacks.’
RZA is resurrecting his Bobby Digital alter ego with a brand new album Digital Potions and its lead single, “Pugilism.”
The menacing, piano-laden cut clocks in at over four-and-a-half minutes and hears the persona spit witty bars with a straightforward flow. Digital Potions will mark RZA’s fifth overall studio album and his fourth under the Bobby Digital persona, and is his first full-length release since June 2008’s Digi Snacks.
In addition to the new Bobby Digital project, the Wu Tang Clan leader is currently working on the second season of Hulu‘s Wu Tang: An American Saga series. “We got some great directors. We got Mario Van Peebles helping out directing, we brought in a few film directors as well,” RZA told Ebro Darden on Apple Music. “I think it’s going to be a really cool, unique season, and I think people are going to learn a lot about Wu-Tang and about the process of making music.”
