Jordan Brand Crafts New Air Jordan 35 Low Colorway for Luka Dončić
Galaxy graphics dress up the tongues of the Dallas Mavs’ superstar’s kicks.
Lebron James unfortunately wasn’t able to sway Nike into getting Luka Dončić to be the first signee of Team LeBron, but the Dallas Mavericks‘ All-Star has been happily rocking with the Jumpman family since the end of 2019. Throughout his time there, Dončić and Jordan Brand have only released an Air Jordan 1 Mid to the public, but now they’ve joined hands to unveil a special Air Jordan 35 Low colorway.
The court-ready installment is one of playful patterns and vivid accents. Right away, the tongues and heel overlays capture our attention as they are each treated with purple and pink galaxy-inspired graphics, the former of which splits between iridescent Jumpman insignias on the right side and a vertically-stacked “LD7” logo on the left. Elsewhere on the tongues, you’ll find pops of hot pink that line the tongue and throat tabs, as well as the dotted shoe laces which match up with the interstellar theme as they too arrive with purple and pink color-blocking. Underlays bear a green glow skin, and come packaged with white overlays and mid-foot cables that are ornamented with red speckles. Eclipse plates down below are served up with a purple to pink gradient effect and the outsoles are filled in with a glow-in-the-dark-like green.
The shoes saw a surprised release via Foot Locker, but expect Nike and select retailers to drop them again in the coming weeks for $165 USD.
