Kodak Black Granted Permission To Travel for Work
The rapper will expand his charity work and is looking to perform shows.

A federal judge has granted Kodak Black permission to travel for work.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the judge approved the rapper’s motion to travel but he will be required to give his full itinerary — including the hotels he’ll be staying at while on the road — to his probation officer. Black’s legal team stated in the original filing that he is looking to expand his charity work to other states, explicitly referring to the scholarship he organized in the name of Parkland victim Meadow Pollack. The rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, also told TMZ that Black is interested in doing some shows and record label meetings.
The Florida rapper’s prison sentence was commutated by former U.S. President Donald Trump as one of his last-minute pardons. Black was released from prison in late January 2021 and has been busy with his philanthropic work and his music, releasing tracks like “Last Day In,” “Every Balmain” and “Hit Bout It” with Lil Yachty.
Elsewhere in music, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah are set to battle it out on VERZUZ.
