Lucas Puig's adidas PUIG Arrives With Another "Core Black" Makeover
The French pro skater adds another colorway to his Three Stripes repertoire.
Lucas Puig and the adidas skateboarding division have decided to further enlarge its run of footwear team-ups with a fresh new makeup atop the PUIG silhouette. Deviating from the previous collaborative styles with Palace, this newest “Core Black” offering has just launched under the Three Stripes’ GR department.
In the past, the French skateboarder and adidas have fashioned the PUIG with the “Core Black” theme, but this latest take is styled with brighter accompaniments.
Uppers are manufactured with a sultry suede fabric that’s swamped in its titular tone, and comes positioned next to “Cloud White” mid-foot stripes and heel cup backgrounds. Gilded accents drizzle over the lateral side’s PUIG spell out, as well as the Trefoil branding that rests on the throat. Tongues have been debossed with “P” letters that cover its entirety to nod to the kick-push maven’s first initial. Furthermore, a striking blast of “Vivid Green” makes its way over to the lower heel in the form of an unfinished triangle.
adiTUFF abrasion protection and adiPRENE insoles are employed for premium durability and comfort. The midsoles are given a milky composition, and come rounded off with a two-toned outsole.
